Vice President of Communications of PT Pertamina (Persero) Mochamad Aaron proposed to nonsubsidized type of fuel prices in Jakarta and surrounding Pertamax reach Rp7.850 per liter. This number increased from Rp350 per liter price per 1 January of Rp7.500 per liter.
"This price increase is we have determined based on market strategies and increase in world crude oil prices," said Aaron told the Media Indonesia in Jakarta, Friday (14 / 1).
When responding to competition by competitors, Aaron said it was common place. In fact, he said Pertamina competitors like Shell, Petronas, and the total price will always be lagging state issued oil and gas sector (gas) is.
"It's okay, anyway, our policies and they are different," said Aaron, who added Pertamax price increase applies to all Indonesia.
