In the report of the Audit Board (BPK) of the results of the performance of the examination process and tax investigation against six taxpayers who submitted to the Panja Tax Commission XI DPR RI December 8 last, contained the potential loss to the state of the six companies that allegedly do pengemplangan tax. Chairman of the House of Representatives Taxation Panja Melchias Mekeng Marcus said the potential losses are estimated to reach Rp 1.7 trillion CPC.
"The CPC report, the potential loss of his country could add up almost 1.7 trillion from six companies. Because of this negligence, the state must pay interest and penalties which the maximum penalty per month for two years. If it's more than two years, 48 percent of the total obligations to be paid to taxpayers. Six companies that accounted for CPC as a company is suspected of tax mengemplang PT Permata Hijau Sawit, Asian Agri Group, Wilmar Vegetable Indonesia, PT Alfa Kurnia, PT International Ing, and RS Emma Mojokerto.
Members Panja, Arif Budimanta, from the PDI-P faction said the CPC noted six of these companies as the object under investigation and suspected cases of criminal actions in the field of taxation and tax disputes.
Mekeng said Panja had done an internal meeting to discuss this report and then decided to recommend the establishment of the taxation committee will soon be submitted to the commission an internal meeting and a plenary session next week. Panja also will ask law enforcement officials to immediately follow up the tax officials who judged negligent in performing its duties according to the findings of CPC.
"We also would recommend a review of tax legislation which does not fit anymore and make this nation does not get a bigger tax revenues again. We all know three consecutive years, the tax does not reach its target and one reason is the modes operandi who deliberately set up by officials for personal gain.
